Madi Hamilton
Madi Hamilton, formerly Madi Brown, is a passionate fitness professional and the driving force behind NextGym in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Recently married and embracing her new name, Madi has been a dedicated trainer since 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on health and fitness, blending scientific expertise with practical application. A standout collegiate golfer at North Idaho College and Lewis-Clark State College, Madi was named North Idaho College’s Athlete of the Decade for her remarkable achievements. Having competed in golf since age seven, she brings a lifelong athlete’s discipline to her training approach. Certified in Titleist Performance Institute, NASM Golf Fitness, and Senior Fitness, Madi specializes in functional training, focusing on balance, mobility, and stretching. She creates personalized workouts tailored to each client’s initial screening, ensuring a customized approach to meet individual goals. At NextGym, Madi leverages cutting-edge technology to optimize performance and recovery, delivering a dynamic, results-driven fitness experience that empowers clients of all levels to thrive.

Steve Horne
Steve Horne is a fitness coach, military veteran, and one of the experienced professionals bringing NextGym's vision to life in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. With over a decade of hands-on coaching experience, Steve has helped hundreds of clients across in-person and online settings build strength, improve performance, and develop a relationship with fitness that actually lasts.

Steve served in the U.S. Army with the 25th Infantry Division — an experience that instilled the discipline, resilience, and leadership that now define the way he coaches. He brings a no-nonsense, results-focused approach to every client interaction, built on what works in the real world, not just in theory.

His programming centers on strength development, intelligent accessory work, and individualized plans designed around each client's goals, lifestyle, and capacity for consistency. Equally committed to the nutrition side of the equation, Steve has spent over a decade tracking and applying practical nutrition strategies that help clients build sustainable habits alongside their training.

Attiyahna Simpson
Among the talented team at NextGym, Attiyahna brings a rare combination of athletic credibility and genuine passion for people. A certified personal trainer and former collegiate athlete, Attiyahna understands firsthand what it takes to perform at a high level — and more importantly, how to translate that experience into results for everyday clients.
Holding a certification from ISSA, Attiyahna builds structured, personalized programs grounded in proper technique and smart progression. Whether a client's goal is fat loss, toning, or simply feeling stronger and more confident, she designs each session around the individual — their lifestyle, their starting point, and where they want to go.
Known for a high-energy, positive coaching style, Attiyahna creates an environment where hard work and enjoyment coexist. The belief that fitness should feel empowering, not overwhelming, is at the core of everything Attiyahna does — helping clients stay consistent, build real confidence, and take pride in every step of their journey.
